About Hanzim

Hanzim was originally created by a Chinese language student, who conceived of the program while attending classes in Beijing. Frustrated by the magnitude of the memorization task as well as the cumbersome chore of looking up characters in a dictionary, he knew computers could make learning hanzi easier.

The current development team includes a professional programmer as well as a Chinese educator and translator.
